ZEROREZĀ® Has The Solution
Pet ownersā number one complaint is: how do we get pet smell out of our homes. Our certified and trained technicians will assess the needs of your home and will tailor a treatment specifically for the needs of your home.
Discoloration?
Urine is an acid when it enters carpet and oxidizes as it dries causing the yellowing effect that can stain floors. Oxidation, ammonia and urochrome in urine, can permanently dye the color of your carpet if not properly treated. Improper spot treatment of the urine spot can set the spot turning it into a permanent stain.
Odor?
As urine dries, a chemical change occurs. Acidic urine chemically changes to an alkaline, forming urea salts that attract moisture. Residue related to urine must be neutralized and the source must be addressed to help remove the odor for good.
The Zerorez Cleaning Process Is Different
We address the problem beneath the surface
ZEROREZĀ® Three Treatments for Pet Problems
- Some cases will require our proprietary cleaner that is applied topically to the top fibers of your carpet before our 3-step cleaning process. This will penetrate the surface of your carpet.
- In more severe cases, the urine soaks through the carpet backing into the padding and floor beneath. In this case, the problem has become "multi-layered" and effective remediation must address each layer of the problem to help remove the lingering odor at the source. Our cleaning process penetrates all the way through the carpetās top layer, the padding underneath, and all the way down to the subfloor. We rinse the carpet multiple times pulling out as much urine and residue as we can.
- The most extreme step you may choose is a full padding replacement. This is the only option that is fully guaranteed. We will pull up the carpet and clean the subfloor and replace the padding. Before laying the carpet back down we will clean the backing and fibers of the carpet and stretch the carpet back into place.
